Alford Dyett is a Montserratian architect who started his practice in 1982. He quickly grew the business to not only architectural services but also consultancy, build/design, equipment, and tool rental services.
His journey started with his love for wood and joinery at a young age, which quickly developed into a passion for architecture. He then went on to finish his schooling at the New York Institute of Technology.
Alford Dyett’s work has spanned across the Caribbean islands, to include Montserrat, Grenada, Anguilla, Barbados, St. Kitts, and Antigua. His outlook on design combines form, function, aesthetics. He is known for his high level of detail, exceptional design standards and is renowned for his effortless luxury villas, nestled hill side villas naturally ‘catching the breeze’, commercial spaces and for turning the client’s dream into a full stressless experience.
Alford enjoys reading inspirational books, researching about new development in building technologies, playing lawn tennis,listening to a wide range of music, and watching a good game of cricket and tennis. The approach for building construction by Alford Dyett Associates is to maximise on all available resources and techniques with the emphasis to execute each project on and before its targeted time as time is currency.
Alford Dyett II Training Architect
Architectural Apprentice at Foster & Partners, Oxford Brookes University (MArch).
Alford II was introduced to the architectural world at a young age through the different design and build environments his father’s company was involved in. After his years of work experience in Montserrat, he went on to study in London where he is focusing on new architectural technologies, sustainability, and wellness. He is now an apprentice at the world-leading architectural design and engineering firm Foster & Partners. Alford also loves athletics and was able to compete with many great athletes including Usain Bolt. Alford is a super fan of the late Kobe Bryant and doesn’t miss a Roger Federer tennis match..
